More than just a hobby, a passion.

Born in 1992 in Haute-Savoie (France), I have always been attracted by the surrounding wildlife. While roaming nearby forests and mountains with my parents since my youngest age, I always gave all my attention to every detail that could reveal the presence of an animal in the area. Examinating all animal tracks, faeces, remains that they would left behind them, secretly hoping to cross their path one day. That is how my passion for nature and wildlife is born.

I progressively got to know, stalk and observe those lasts, until later when I finally started to photograph them. Unfortunately a bit unskilfully at first. But then, with experience and other photographers or friends I met, I became more sensitive to their fragile habitat and learnt how to blend in the environment.

My love for nature never stopped to grow since then and I particularly enjoy to share it with family, friends and other wildlife enthusiasts. Each excursion is a great opportunity to learn more and discover wildlife secrets. It is a real pleasure to be a part of this and capture all these scenes.

Through my pictures I hope I can transmit my passion and visions of the nature in which we all live. I wish you a good visit on this website.

On another note, I really do believe wildlife photography is a call to  live to the rhythm of the seasons in harmony with nature. With its surprises and constraints.

Following the awakening of nature during spring, with the courtships and  displays, the return of migratory birds, the matings... After that experiencing the births and beholding how the youngs are growing rapidly and getting well acquainted with their habitat.  Later, in fall, being able to hear the loud calls of the red deer during its rutting period and birds like pygmy owls starting to sing announcing the end of summer. Next comes the time of observing the rut of chamois and ibex in the mountains. And maybe, not without a bit of luck, catching a glimpse of the mountain hares, rock ptarmigans and stoats discretely getting their white coats on for the coming winter. Then seeing a red fox hunting in deep snow or admiring how animals survive the harsh conditions throughout the "bad season".

But, above all, it is also taking time to sit back, trying to blend in the environment, waiting for hours and hours or  going all over a location to end up going back home empty handed. In those cases, persevering, learning, even questioning yourself, in the hope of being rewarded one day with a long-awaited scene.

Because at a time when everything needs to go fast, too fast, when one tends to want everything, all and immediately, when nature simply becomes a consumer good, it is essential to remember that some things necessitate time to be achieved. And that we mainly improve ourselves with hard work and failures. To me, this is nature photography.

Au travers de mes clichés j'espère donc réussir à transmettre cette passion pour la nature dans laquelle nous vivons tous et je vous souhaite une bonne visite sur mon site.
